David Isaacson
President & Chief Executive Officer
As President and CEO, Mr. Isaacson has brought TMI from its inception to its present recognition as an established metro area resource for excellence in planned technology. He provides the vision for TMI’s growth as well as the daily leadership to achieve it. He maintains a seat on TMI’s Board of Directors and heads up the strategic planning teams for both technology and marketing. TMI's consistent growth and recognition in the business community are largely due to Mr. Isaacson’s energy and enthusiasm, his persistent focus on the importance of professional certifications and partnerships with the industry’s top organizations, and his spot-on ability to recognize industry changes and implement them for both TMI itself and its customers.
For more than a decade, Mr. Isaacson’s active engagement and strong technology acumen has ensured that TMI's business model remains ahead of the fast-paced changes in the industry and consistently exceeds customer expectations. His strong adherence to the belief that customer satisfaction is the linchpin to success has proven critical to TMI’s continued growth and success.
Previously, Mr. Isaacson held leadership positions with Coopers & Lybrand, Microtech-Tel, IBS Networks and began his career working with IBM, Microsoft and various dot-com startups. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Florida State University, is an actively certified MCITP, EA/SA from Microsoft, holds a CCNA from Cisco, and has been an active member of various community-driven organizations such as the Computer Security Institute (CSI), National Computer Security Association (NCSA), Arlington Business Council, Young Executives Society. In 2010 Mr. Isaacson was awarded BNI’s Member of the Year, and in 2011 he was elected to the Board of Directors of the Arlington Chamber of Commerce.
Mr. Isaacson founded TMI on a mission to ensure that technology is never a burden to business, but rather a tool for its growth. This philosophy is at the heart of every decision made on behalf of TMI and its customers.
Ann Isaacson
Executive Vice President / Principal
As Executive Vice President, Mrs. Isaacson has directed and managed the day-to-day operation of TMI. Leveraging Mrs. Isaacson’s vast business experience and organizational skills, she has assisted in growing TMI from 10 customers and 2 employees to more than 700 customers and 20+ employees. Mrs. Isaacson heads up Sales and Marketing and has been responsible for developing TMI’s corporate identity from the onset. She founded the web division of the company and retains a permanent seat on TMI’s Board of Directors.
Due largely to Mrs. Isaacson’s marketing efforts, TMI was awarded the Arlington Chamber of Commerce ABBIE award for Best Small Business. She continues to work closely with the Arlington Chamber of Commerce, The Optimist Club, and is responsible for TMI’s community and charitable giving policies. She and TMI strongly support the American Cancer Society, Haiti��s WhatIf Foundation, Kenya’s Heart of the Village and the animal shelters of both Alexandria and Arlington, VA.
Previous to TMI, Ann was the Volunteer Coordinator and Operations Manager at Northern Virginia Family Services, and she brings more than 25 years’ commercial real estate / legal and business operations experience to TMI.
A Golden Key graduate of George Mason University, Ann is proud of her two grown children and her grandchildren, her two-generation connection with the United States Navy (her father USNA Class of ’44, now deceased; and her son, actively serving submariner, USNA Class of 2003), and her first decade of commitment to the growth and continued success of TMI. She and husband David live with their dogs in Arlington, VA in the house which served as the TMI headquarters for almost five years.
Levert James, Jr.
Chief Technology Officer
As Chief Technology Officer, Mr. James leverages technology to investigate, adapt, and develop new solutions that range from facilitating day-to-day operations, to solving major business technology roadblocks. He also helps devise TMI’s logistical IT & Development frameworks and procedures. James’ engineering-oriented development background helps him understand the importance and potential of strong integration between Information Technology & Development.
Mr. James has been with Technology Management, Inc. since mid-2008. Specializing in relational data and application integration, he spearheaded the expansion of TMI’s internet, web, and software development capabilities. He currently continues to operate as the Vice President of Development Services and has a strong presence in TMI’s development projects.
Mr. James attended the University of Virginia as a Rodman scholar, and holds a B.S. in Computer Science from its School of Engineering. His core competencies include .NET, C++, Java & Web/Web Service Development languages, along with a variety of IT related technologies including SharePoint, CRM, Exchange, Active Directory, and SQL Database Technologies.
